What is it about? I've heard lots of people talking about it.

Female clones. It banks on the whole nature vs nurture thing. Each clone is a (more or less) fully realized person with her own agency (Buzzwords!) and they're all very distinct. Some female characters are from the wrong side of the tracks, some in positions of power, but as the series goes on, there are absolutely no 'weak' characters. Moments of weakness, sure, but no one's weak
