You know, reading all this makes me roll my eyes again. I came into this fandom a bit late as well, so the 'groups' were already formed. I really had no idea about all the drama. I joined the public group and happily posted away. I befriended people left and right, not knowing or being aware they belonged to different groups and not knowing about all the drama. I learned about the 'hidden' group eventually and joined that one as well.

Then one day, Cricketgirl posted an entry about her problems. I was amazed by it all and in all my naivety, I commented. I don't even remember what I said, but I'm sure I wasn't choosing sides. I was simply amazed people were willing to start a war over a fandom.

Somehow, my comment was seen as betrayal by the other group. They demanded I would pick a side. I didn't, because I really didn't know what was going on when it came to the full story, and because I don't let myself get pressured like that. I just wanted to read and write about Logan and Marie, no matter what group I was in.

By refusing to choose, the decision was taken for me. They kicked me out of their community and deleted all my fics. So then I ended up on DDFH only, which was fine by me because they never forced me to pick.

All in all, I still feel like it was ridiculous. I still don't know what the drama was about (and I don't care), but somehow I got sucked right into it and ended up being 'the bad guy' as well. I never had a problem with anyone though. It was completely one-sided and completely unnecessary because up until this day, I still haven’t picked a side.

Oh my goodness, I find all of this history fascinating, and yet crazy. Well, either way, I am glad that there are people who stuck it out despite all the drama, and people who care enough to preserve it all and keep things going. <3
