Squee! so happy to see the next chapter. Have to say I just love your Logan, he's such a dichotomy of candor/forthrightness and closed off, I understand how Marie struggles to read him.

Oh, I love this description of him: a dichotomy of candor/forthrightness and closed off. But it's true though. He's either shockingly blunt/honest (although Marie doesn't always recognize this), or the walls are up all the way (usually because she's got them up as well - a pattern she doesn't recognize either). She'll learn eventually. All she has to do is relax around him. :)

Thanks! No, they sorta left out the whole 'she gets memories and feelings as well' stuff. Xavier only explains to Logan that she takes life force and mutant abilities, but the first script said that she trashes the room after absorbing Logan the first time. Somehow that part got deleted though, so I threw it back in

Happy to see you around again with a new fic (yeah I follow the newsletter from de website so I have just read yesterday the 5 chap) : like always, I really love the tension between them, you write on this subject with smartness. Marie is lost in her mind again and it's pleasant to "meet" her like this, as she was in X1 and X2, maybe with a little more maturity.
Thank you, can't wait to read the next chapter ! ^_^

Marie from X3 was so different towards Logan than the X1 and X2 girl. She was so angry and distant it seemed. But then hallway scene in X3 happened and the moment Logan told her that he's not her father but her friend, she instantly changed back to the girl we know - the one with her heart in her eyes when she looks at him.

That's what I tried to do here as well. Going through those extremes. She changes from distant and closed off to wide open and back again. He does that to her, although he's not aware of it conciously.

Next chapter is almost done. I hope to post it next week. And don't fret about your English. It's fine! :)

Hooray! Lovely new chapter that promises much more LM goodness to come, with a lot to look forward to, especially if Logan's going to be Marie's teacher again like he was in Yellow Brick Road (how hot was that?! *swoon*) and there's going to be a road trip again

Yes, Logan is going to be Marie's teacher, and they're going to do stuff together again. Not sure what yet, but I might come up with something along the way. Heh.

This Marie starts out a bit jaded and angry, but she will revert to the Marie in YBR and OUT eventually. I like that Marie a lot better, and I love L&M to hang out and just goof off together. So... it's going to happen. Soon. :)
