Prague Blog (Trust Me, It Rhymes) Part 1
So I read the State Department's warnings for international travel on Thursday. It says that, for international flights, you ought to show up three hours early in order to be sure you'll make it through security. Being dutiful, I left the house four hours early (providing for about an hour in transit, in case of traffic) and got to the airport, ready for the ordeal.
I was through all of security in about seven minutes.
Like, I walked in the front door, printed out my boarding pass, went to the terminal, went through security (with two screw ups on my part- I left my laptop in my backpack AND forgot to remove my shoes) and then found myself in front of my gate. Seven minutes from walking in the front door to being in front of my gate.
I'm going to be in this freakin' airport for THREE HOURS.
