Quick novel update
I've made some progress on "Friends and Enemies" since I made my Bet With the Universe public. Some fun stuff should happen in this one, although I'm currently a little stuck on a tricky scene in which one character is attempting to hide something from another- something I don't wish to actually ever explicitly reveal. Makes for some interesting writing decisions, especially since my writing style for DEMON is pretty spare and straightforward.
Still trying to decide if I win the bet if I just finish the last two stories and don't get around to rewriting "Checkmate" until after Christmas. That story really needs to be updated to match the rest of the cycle...
