Fair warning: This is possibly the goofiest/lamest song I've ever written. But I think it's mildly hilarious. (Especially the last verse.) Proceed at your own risk!

GUITAR PART, a.k.a., "Thank God I don't actually know how to play guitar or this would have taken a lot longer"

All the chords are power chords, for they are the chords that have the power.

VERSE
C___________G
My friends, they say it
D___________C
At the drop of a hat
C_______G
But me, I mean it
D_______________C
But I never get the chance
D__________C________F#_______E
Every time it seems I'm just in reach
D_______C______F#________E
Like Mister Prufrock and his peach
C_______G
I fall, fall flat
D____________C
I'm lying on my back

CHORUS
E_______________D______C________G
Oh please won't you be my geeky girlfriend?
D#_______C#_____B__________F#
I'd make it all worthwhile in the end
E____________D__________C_______G
I'll take another drink and try again
D#______________C#_____B________F#
Oh please won't you be my geeky girlfriend?

Sweet. A lot of it is untabbable- I've got this odd kinda rhythm down for the verses.

You know, the thing that really gives you away in this piece is the Prufrock reference. I could accept even the double claw/rend part from some imitator, but the Prufrock is uniquely you. No one else I know would go near it. Or at least think to put it in a song.

I'm not even sure I understand all the references. But then, perhaps I don't need to.

I think I should rewrite some of the typical emo kid parts and make them more geeky. As you may have noticed, it gets considerably moreso as it goes on.
