This is possibly the weirdest poem I've ever "written." This is what happens when I read Wikipedia entries on William S. Burroughs...

"The Flow and the Ebb"

Hoping you won’t try to take the fall:
hopes, cares, all lie now bare, plundered…
Did I feel your arms around me?

but they remind me almost of a chant I heard once.....if they're not, then they would make a good part of a chant. Better than the same old tired ones we hear all the time....

It's almost like something Gwyddion Pendderwynn would say.... ; )

*L* Dude, that's one of the old traditional chants. I guess we haven't done it recently, but we did that one in circle for years and years.

We should do it again, though. It's obviously one of my favorites.
