book suggestions
alright, i feel like this is probably the BEST group of people to ask this of. what are your book recommendations? Like absolute must-read, you-can-not-go-another-day-of-your-life-without-reading-this-book-Laur books. Fiction, non-fiction, american classic, eastern translation, i don't care. Just what are your favorite classic classic books. I'm enjoying Nissie's selection of chick-lit but i need more. I've got the Agatha Christie's covered. Mich, i'm gonna start on the Chronicals of Narnia next, and Alice In Wonderland, because i haven't read those books in years (i don't think i finished Chronicals). But i feel that i may be overlooking some classic literature here, and some modern necessity. Da Vinci Code and Harry Potter, check. Ooooh how i miss Harry and the gang already. I need to fill the void! Woah, you know what book i just thought of that was like, my favorite book as a kid? From The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. That was such a great book! I wish they just had a section in the book store or the library that were guaranteed classics. Well, you know...besides the "Classics" section...
