i tell myself this is standard pre-WC shenanigans for Germany but dammit if the 2006 crew don't get one last try at the trophy I'm gonna have to have some words with people
It's not a proper World Cup unless we're borne along on a wave of euphoria and Teamgeist and cruelly stomped on at the last possible second. Maybe Germany will even lose in the final this time!
I don't want to say Spain but face it, it's what everyone's thinking
God help us we'd never hear the end of it should it be Spain
But TBH - I think they are not going to be nearly as strong. They limped along in the Euros and were lucky that a certain OTHER team were playing like crap and the other certain other team that beat the forementioned other team decided to have just one good game at just the right time
Provided His Nibs is healthy, what about that South American team with Tevez, Aguero, Di Maria, etc.? With La Pulga in good form, they could do semis at least. I do not think Spain will win it this time. For me, it's between Brazil, Germany, and Argentina.
I'd mention the Netherlands, but they might implode as per usual. Or maybe that's France's job now.
Quite possibly. I just really - have seen too many now to believe Germany can pull it off. Which is sad but consistency states they will at least hit the quarter if not later.

And Poldi's ankle that was probably a ticking time bomb that Arsene was aware of
And Lahm playing in the FREEZING COLD so he finally was forced to sit out due to hamstring
And Schweinsteiger's recurring ankle problem that was a ticking time bomb that I suspect most people knew about
And Marco Reus's nonexistent immune system in relation to colds and stomachaches
And Rene Adler's fine china body

The only thing being I legit don't know who will win. Maybe Brazil. Nah. Probably not.
