The Hammer doesn't play anymore
The former national-team-player Thomas Hitzlsperger ends his football-career with only 31 years.
He says, he has suffered too much injuries. "I think it's enough," he said. Although he continued to receive offers to resume his playing career, the newspaper reported, Hitzlsperger said: "I've noticed: I need something else."
His breakthrough began in Aston Villa, after returning to Germay he won the german championship with VfB Stuttgart 2007.
His last game for the national-team was in August 2010 against Denmark. Thomas played 52 times for Germany
