They asked all the right questions! I now love Poldi more than ever.

We know Mesut calls him Mr Loew because a comedian called him up to impersonate Loew him before the Bayern game!

Loew said, in an interview with that child-moderator for ZDF that the players call him "trainer" but some say "Mr Loew"

I love how Mesut says "I know" when the guys says "Hey Mesut, it was just a bit of fun..."

This is a long way of saying: it was almost too good.

They got everything though - his slurpy breathing. The hesitations between words, the breathing, the way he swallows his syllables.

I was impressed. I was touched too that the receptionist recognized the voice immediately. To be a legend you need something distinctive. Loew has THAT voice, and hair that is always the same length!

It's a great impersonation, it is! And the receptionist was totally star-struck, it was cute. (I'd be totally the same way. Actually, I passed Jogi when coming out of a restaurant a while ago and barely dared glance at him because I didn't want to be one of those fans with no respect for a person's privacy.)

I had not seen (or heard) that Antenne Bayern fake interview thingy. Heh. I'm not sure Mesut just how much Mesut suspected, but he sure remained cool.

It makes so much sense that Poldi would be the one to go for the "du". So much sense.
