I would love to see captain Poldi - after all he's briefly been captain at Koeln, and did fine, afaics. But I'm sure that won't happen, which is unfortunate because it forces him to really be involved.
It seemed to restrain his temper & mature him while he was capt of Koeln, and he was obviously so proud to be captain too. :) Solbakken had other ideas of course, and I must say that Geromel (?) hasn't made any impression on me at all, whereas Poldi seems to be more motivated and in better shape. I don't understand why it's not Lukas, tbh. Doesn't temporary captaincy usually depend on caps? Or are there other ~politics involved? S:
Yeah, I feel the same way wrt Miro. But I'd rather he miss these games and destroy the records during the Euro and the World Cup than have to miss those S:
Lukas is not in the Mannschaftsrat... Bastian, Philipp, Miro, Arne and Per are, Lukas is not. The Mannschaftsrat ist the player's council and is elected by the players.
Only if neither of the members of the council are able to play, it will go to Poldi.
