Metzelder - what are your thoughts?

feeling guilty for being inactive for so long. i've been missing out on so much in the footballing world!
just been extremely busy (or lazy!) i guess.
anyways, i stumbled across this picture one day when i was aimlessly wasting time on google images:
have any of you guys seen it before? metzelder was a once active part of die nationalmannschaft, and i thought i'd bring to mind the fact that he's pretty much retired from international football these days. what are your thoughts on metzelder? do you miss him? glad that he's gone? miscellaneous comments? anything really
i myself don't really know whether i miss him or not. i guess i do a little, considering i watched him play a lot - because he was around in WM 2002 , 2006 and EC 2004 and 2008 (all of which i obviouly watched) - but he was never really one of my favourites. and he was out injured a lot, so often i wouldn't see much of him for months at a time.
