Goalkeeper Rene Adler has pulled out of the Germany squad with a muscle injury for an upcoming UEFA EURO 2012 qualifer and friendly match.
The Bayer Leverkusen keeper will miss the qualifier against Kazakhstan in Kaiserslautern on Saturday and the friendly against Australia in Monchengladbach the following Tuesday, the German Football Association announced.
Coach Joachim Low and goalkeeping coach Andreas Kopke have decided not to call up a replacement for the 26-year-old. Schalke's Manuel Neuer and Werder Bremen's Tim Wiese are the other keepers on the team.
