So what are you gonna do with Xabi then? Diarra wants to leave, but right now he is only a backup and in your situation you gonna have to bench either Xabi, Sami or Bastian?! Anyway, Bayern won't let him go until 2012, that's a fact. Bastian definitely has to grow out his hair though ;)

I'd alternate them, I guess.
Xabi and Sami are brilliant, but they shouldn't play every game without a rest. If one of them gets injured it would be a disaster in my opinion. Starting 2 out of 3 games for all of them is better for everyone concerned.
But then you're right. Benching Xabi seems out of the question. I love him. He's essentially the boss on the field, Iker being too far away. He's the reason Mesut got the free kick, for example. That's one reason it went in. Everyone thought Mesut was just standing there - no one thought he'd be the one kicking it in...comms included.
Anyway, it's all dreams. I personally think he'll stick around at Bayern actually, I am just hoping...for longer hair...

I like anywhere that Ozil and Khedira (and Xabi and Sergio and WHAT REAL GREW ON ME ONCE I STARTED WATCHING THEM I CAN LIKE THEM IF I WANT) are playing, but I'm not sold on Schweinsteiger moving there, to be honest. BUT this comment made me laugh so hard that I literally began crying, especially:
He can grow out his hair and borrow a head-band from either one of them.

The main reason I don't find Mesut's hair offensive - aside from the fact that Ronaldo loves ruffling it - which is rather sweet (see goal number two against Malaga for details) - is that I imagine Sami lending him the headband. It seems less offensive somehow.
The idea came to me when Mesut taught Sami his chewing gum trick during the Kazakhstan warm-up.

That would be so awesome if he moves to Real. I'll miss him at Bayern, but the idea of him going to a team outside of The Bundesliga is exciting

I love the commentary - "it's all due to little Mesut Oezil...just look at those wonderful eyes..."
