So my friend is a Spain fan (I KNOW, I KNOW) but she was intrigued by the allure of one Bastian Schweinsteiger (my spam of whom you can see here, as well as a post of WC2010 photos here), and asked me to show her GERMANS. SORRY SAN IKER!! The wounds of WC2010 are still quite fresh, but I'll admit that may of their faces have swayed me as well. Particularly Xabi, Iker, and Nando. I was mostly kidding! Don't hurt me San Iker! :P

Good point! I mean, aren't Spaniards supposed to be short, hairy, and ugly?

All right, I give you the short and hairy - but plenty of girls don't mind a bit of hair - Iker's a perfect example - just that bit of scruffy is too adorable. And all those sweet, scrubbed, butter-wouldn't-melt faces in the starting 11! They are second only to the adorable Mannschaft.

I even love Carles Puyol. I wanted to hate him after his header (to say nothing of the hair on that head) - but when I found out he does Yoga (and is considered, among his teammates as a bit of a philosopher because of this) and is a huge fan of flamenco dancing - what could I do? You can't hate a guy who does yoga and is considered to be smarter than his teammates because of it (this speaks well for the team too). Admit it, just knowing about the yoga makes the wounds heal a little faster!

i quite thank myself that the only thing i like bout spain NT is Iker. when he retires, i'll be thanking myself again.
