So I was looking at Goodreads and thinking about anticipation, and how a new book that comes out gets read immediately in front of the long long queue of existing books I want to get to. Here are books I am looking forward to:

XD I'm not holding my breath but I'm hoping we'll at least get ADWD if not, you know, the actual conclusion... *sigh*
I'm with you on the Dresden Files ones, of course, and ASOIAF. Also, I was definitely anticipating Tongues of Serpents, but that's out now and I haven't read it yet. When I do get my hands on it, it's definitely going to the top of the queue. Ditto for CryoBurn, the latest Miles Vorkosigan book (late this year). Oh, and Discworld anything, which I suppose at this point means I Shall Wear Midnight (September).

I really enjoy getting to use the bookstore as a library, it means when new books come out I don't have to be on a waitlist to get them.

Logistics might be a little tough, depending on when/where, but I'm definitely game to try and make it work! Where in the Bay Area are you going to be, and what's your schedule going to be like? (Or if you'd prefer to take it to email, hamsterwoman78 at yahoo dot com)
(Cryoburn aside, it would also be just cool to meet you! And if we are able to meet, would love to express my appreciation with lunch or coffee or something, if timing works out. :)

I am fairly flexible on where, I am driving some friends out so they can get to SFO so they just need to end up at a BART station in time to make their mid-afternoon flight. I will send you an email to see we can see if we can work out logistics.
