Oh you are soooooo cheating. =P
That is the worst picture of that actor I've ever seen, and he is far better looking on the show. IMHO, He is 1000X hotter that Syler. I've actually never been big on Syler to be honest.

But then I'd go for rugged and a little older over glossy pretty boy any day.

Samuel is rocking the rugged, older-man look the way Laurie and Henriksen do =P
Syler is just your everyday "pretty" boy. Nothing special for me ^^;;

(my icon totally displays my bias though *L*)

I am not sure I would qualify Sylar as a "pretty boy".

I wasn't trying to cheat. I just did a google image search and that's what I came up with, honest.

My problem is to me this guy doesn't look rugged, just thrashed... even with the better pictures.

And I wouldn't consider the other to be a pretty boy. Really his nose is too big for him to be considered pretty, pretty tends to mean more moderate features.
