my feelings towards humanity remain intertwined with sadness and hope.
When I read of people in Burma not receiving supplies from other countries (and their own), after a natural disaster, i feel great sadness. Has the world really come to this? Come to a point where greed has won? Where a country fails to look after its people? where they think this is okay? or where at such a time military has won quality food and blankets? Where at the same time, generous people, not even inhabiting the area donate their own money, and time for the love of beings they do not know? How complex. This is very upsetting.
And then, there comes to knowledge organizations in Africa, to support those with aids, reproductive problems, and war refuges in the united states.
Is humanity really a good vs. bad society? Should it be separated? How can the two be one at the same time?
