Remember when i actually used to post in this thing? Yeah, me either.
So, I'm back in the mid-west, kiddos. I finally found myself a visual position with Nordstrom. Phew. We just opened a new store in Cincinnati & so far things have been running smoothly. The job is perfect. My co-workers are hilarious. & my boss is amazing. She actually wants to help me move up with the company. (visual manager at the new store in Nashville Spring 2011, anyone?) I've been getting some sass from salesgals, but i'll just kill 'em with kindness and let 'em stick it where the sun don't shine. Let's be frank, this smile could tame a lion.
Other than work, life is low key. Two of my friends from California moved back home, to Northern Kentucky, to go to grad school. So, there are familiar faces nearby, which is always a comfort. Also, they have friends in Cincinnati. There's a lovely gal, who took me on the best girl date of my life a few weekends ago. Not to mention a charming, Jewish law student. I have to confess I made a major pass at this guy, not only because I recently saw Inglorious Bastards but also because he plays the piano beautifully & seems to have his head on straight. So, this shiksa took his ass out to dinner & he ate it up. We've been seeing each other & I'm smitten. Which is lovely. It's been too long. Although, I am a little worried I'll say something incredibly offensive one day & he'll stop calling. But so far things are preetty, preeeeetty, pretty good.
Other than that, I need to get my tush in gear. Maybe a pilates class. Or some tae kwon do. A little tap dancing never hurt a girl, right?
