A measure of a person’s life is not how long he has had to live, but how many moments he has had in between. Time and Love has a deep mystical connection that baffles and yet delights us in so many ways. When was the last time your heart skipped a beat? When was the last time when your breath gets caught, your eyes alight, and just for that very moment, time stood still? These are some of the myriad of moments that shows the promise of Love’s potential.
“A cycle of love and time” is the third concert in the Musica Intimæ series. Vox Camerata would like to present to you a song cycle on the theme of Love and the passing of the year. I would like to dedicate this concert, with love, to the people around me who have shown me kindness and patience through the years; my parents, my friends, and to all the members, past and present, of Vox Camerata. I would especially like to wish boundless joy and everlasting love to my friends, Sin and Ser, Deeps and Sri, and of course Vivek, with Namrita, who have affirmed their love (finally!) for each other this year.
