Okay,
anthon1is doing a journal-thing for books he's read, so I thought I could do one for films I've seen. I like to obsess over films (as I'm sure you all know), and if figured doing it here would be safer for all of you!
Okay. Last night I watched 'Girl, Interrupted' (again - we watched most of it for Psychology but I wanted to see it all the way through). It's amazing, I love it. I heart Winona Rider, and I never knew Angelina Jolie could act so well! The filming was amazing - there are lots of bits that switch between past and present, and it's really clever. If you don't know, it's about a girl who gets sent to a mental institution (though there's nothing really wrong with her), and her friendship with the other girls there. It's fantastic, I really recommend it. There are also strange parallels with Heathers... hm. Suspicious (well, not really, but still).
On a slightly similar note, I went to
miut's house with
nosesaretasty at the weekend, for
miut's birthday. It was so much fun! We watched a lot of films we used to obsess over (namely Minority Report and The Matrix), as well as Revenge of the Sith (because we hadn't seen it all together) and a few episodes of Firefly (because they love it and I needed to see more). We drank Bucks Fizz, and ate Snakes on a Cake, and it was generally yummy and fun and happy-making. We didn't get to sleep until... actually, I have no idea what time, but it was late because we only started watching The Matrix at midnight. Hee! Unfortunately I had to leave really early so I didn't actually get to see miut in the morning, but still. Twas very much fun!
And right now I'm supposed to be writing Psychology AND English coursework, so I'd better get on with that.
