updating? whazzat?

Dec 16, 2005 02:53

Oh I suppose I should update this thingy once in a while. So let's see, what's going on in my boring life? Finals, they're hard and stuff. Bummer on that, but I think I'm going to come out of this semester alright in everything except Spanish. OMG I hates the Spanish. I need to do something about that ASAP.

Grenye and I went to go see the Narnia movie tonight, and it was great! Yay for C. S. Lewis! They really managed to pull it off, though Aslan was kind of a stretch, but then again putting someone like him in a movie is always hard. The White Witch (the actress' name is escaping me) was terriffic, and I love how they portrayed the whole conflict between her and Aslan. Good stuff. The only minor annoyance was that the projector slowly went just slightly out of focus, so your eyes were constantly trying to focus on the screen but couldn't, and it was incredibly annoying. gah. I wish they still had real humans run projectors.

It was pouring and walking back to Tenley campus we got absolutely drenched when a bus drove by. We were hardcore but very cold and wet.

I have discovered since coming to college that my dad is an excellent letter writer. You learn something new every day, neh? He has a flowing, chatty/anecdotal style that I would never have suspected. It's pretty cool actually. I wish I could write letters like that. Perhaps I need to practice more.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Yes, more or less. I was much nicer about Clinton, and more understanding of someone.
