oh, the wonderful world of disney...
what a good weekend! its still early on sunday, so it may continue...
boyle came fri! i saw edubs in slayter, who heard from mitch, so i called ryan. small school, you'll have that...but, boyle was here and having fun. she got to see a serenade. if YOU'VE never seen a serenade here at denison, it is when a guy from a frat pins a girl from a soror. the girl's soror stands on the steps of east quad holding candles and singing/chanting while the boy's frat is all dressed up on the quad chanting and cheering. its cute. the boy and girl don't get to see each other for a week leading up to the serenade, so when they do its really cute. then they each have tank teams that dress up and run around the quad and are all cute. boyle was luh-oving it. i was freezing.
then, ryan came to east with some of his shorney boys and we went to beaver--never found the party we were looking for. but, ryan lied on facebook and said his bday was feb 25th, so when we walked into this one room, a bunch of guys kept saying "happy bday". we ended up just hanging out with boyle, mitch, christine, her roommate (thanks for the pizza) and sketchy nick and his little bro. then, we walked to slayter to get taco bell--but it was closed! aaaahhhhhhhh!
saturday was a whole lot of doing nothing. woke up late, greg and boots were watching one tree hill so i watched like 3 eps of that. went to chipotle at like 4:30--they wrapped the tortilla and the foil wrong...check! then, we came back and napped. i shaved (which means like only the four inches above my ankles) and put on shorts and a t-shirt to go out. ha.
boots had another serenade for dg + lambda. this one was an alcohol-free event, so this time the two could actually stand up and open their eyes...unlike fri night. it was okay...i think the dg's have better cheers then the theta's (ssshhhh, don't tell edubs).
best part of the night was after the serenade. there was a rugby party over in sunset for gwen's bday...the theme? disney characters. it was so sweet. i went to krista's to get ready to be mushu from mulan--you know, the little red dragon. some good costumes i saw: katie=ursula, krista=the mad-hatter, averi=a lost boy, andrea=woody, june=magic carpet, marek=the genie from aladin, moffet=aladin, sam=mulan, lawless=tinkerbell, jake=winnie the pooh, eddie=eor and, uh, i'm sure there were others...
krista's little sis was here so that was fun. kinda made me wish that i had a little sis, oh but wait i have like 12 little sistas and i love them! and miss them! (even though quinn steals my away message...loves) and i got to talk to a lot of them this weekend! ps girls--i was basically surrounded by the habitat last night cuz there were 3 fadels (eddie, matty and johnny) all right around me (they went to mayfield).
ok, well gunnie and heck are outside playing catch and i want to play. i feel like im forgetting something. let me know...ha. less than three. (hi, sam)
