The Lowdown on the Showdown!
Okay...home from harvard...
Friday
Get up, my sister forgot to find her photo id and print out here debate cases so she almost couldn't go. We were almost too late and then everything ended up fine. The first train was boring, then the second train was fun, because we hadt he entire last car all to ourselves and the fairport forensics team! Lots of games and good times in the food car. We finally arrived, got dinner at the little italian restaurant that we went to last year. There was so much nastalgia. I remembered like EVERYTHING in the city! It was so nice. Then we hit the hay and some hit the Jack courtesy of Nathan.
Saturday
We got up early, went to starbucks, and then went to our rounds. I had all four rounds today, so I was runnin' all over cambridge. It was fun. I saw some talented people and performed the best I have ever performed my piece. Then that night we went to legal seafood. Very good...we got this appetizer and it was a three layer thing of fresh seafood and it was soooooo sooooo soooo good! Then we went back to the hotel around 12:30 or 1. But foster, maggie, and maggie's friend and I walked back and it was SOOOO beautiful.
Sunday
I went with Erika to The Creperie and had a wonderful breakfast, forgot my backpack there but got it back later. Then we went to her and AJ's duo round. It was really good...they did well...and I saw this duo team of some girls...quite hot, and they did Wicked. They were SOOOOOOO GOOD. they ended up getting like 3rd or 4th in Duo. Then we walked around and found out Rashid and Sawyer broke in duo with a "picket fence" and AJ broke in OO and HI. Then we went to AJ's HI round. He got beaten, but it was still mighty good. :) THen we went to his OO semi-fianl round. Then we went to Pizzaria Uno's. It was really fun. Just me Erika AJ and Olga!
Monday
AJ jumped on me to wake me up and to inform me he had broken to finals. So I quickly got dressed, he and I went to starbucks, and then scoped out the theatre he would be performing his final round in. Then finals started and they were all amazing!!! He got 4th in the end. Then we went to Au Bon Pain and got lunch. Then back to the theatre to see Duo finals. They were AMAZING and I almost peed my pants b/c they were so good. (not really) Wicked was just as good and hot that time :) Then AJ Erika Olga and I went to the Loker Commons which was a hangout under this chapel (where the awards would be held) and we played pool, pinball, and some foosball!!!! Then awards, Aj got his silver bowl, and we went back tot he hotel. I was tired, but then we watched Team America:World Police and it put me in a wonderful mood. Erika and I laughed SOOOO hard. I really need to buy that movie!
Tuesday
The train was fine. Really fun except for a few select parts. Got home and slept...
The actual competition was fun and enjoyable, but the social bit was a let down....oh well...i'll get over it. For the most part....
And that was my weekend. Now I much write a Chemistry Book and read 50 pages of Dickens....
