drive by posting...vroom vroom
the car show was fun...except for the fact that 2 different guys just assumed I wasn't there to actually be IN IT and directed me to park out back on the street...nevermind that a) I was registered and b) there was at least 6 other Montes/Buicks JUST LIKE MINE...so yeah, I was like ummm LOOK this isn't gonna fly, so I had to circle the block while they found me a spot...jackwagons >.>
Denise called me last night to tell me that my commissioned portrait had at least a dozen bids on it at the charity auction, and that my CafePress merchandise that she bought for it was around $25+/- a piece at the time she called...dunno what it ended up ending at...but YAY \o/ apparently it's a big horse community, so she's trying to think of some way to get my name out there on a more permanent advertising manner...could be good...I should look into business cards...hrmmm
supposed to be going shopping today with Erin...mostly for Thanksgiving, but since it doesn't take ALL DAY to go to the grocery store we'll prolly hit up a few other places
yes...grocery shopping, because I had to be DUMB and agree to make homemade bread (challah lila_blue_b!) and TWO desserts (coconut-almond cupcakes for dad and white chocolate peppermint cheesecake)
soooo...I'm gonna have to make the challah, cupcakes and cheesecake when I get home from work each night on Mon-Tues-Wed respectively...
and then Fri Teresa's friend got a time-share closer to the theme park so we're all going down there to stay the night (and see the movie \o/) and then it'll be HARRY POTTER THEME PARK AWESOMENESS ALL DAY SATURDAY :D
not sure when I'll get around to doing my ramble!post, since I don't have a free day in the next week...but I LOVED IT *HANDS* Jensen is adorable<3 and I've been waiting FIVE YEARS for a faerie episode, so YAY \o/ XD
