Mks, so... gots a new job at the mall selling scarves. Not very exciting, but it's a job. The haunted barn is over, but it was incredibly awesome and I'm looking forward to the cast party thing they're gunna have.
A few of the member of the BPD board are really nice, and they want to suggest me as a group leader cuz I'm one of the few that comments all the time and is nice about it. Woo hoo! It feels really great to have people to talk to about all this :)
Trying to get back into writing. I've had major block for almost a whole year. It sucks major horse cock. Posted some random string of thought stuff, which helped. I miss feeling creative.
Thanksgiving is on the way. Rob, the kids and I will be spending it up at my folks. They get to meet the girls, which is pretty cool I guess. Since the cancer mom's chilled out a lot, so she's being more optimistic about things (for her), and dad's still dad. Just a large doofy guy, but I love him anyway :p
My brother is "not seeing" a girl. Apparently she's really nice and they like each other a lot, but since it's Tad's last year at college (god, I'm old) they're gunna wait a year so he can concentrate on his studies and pass without losing any scholarships. Props to them for being able to wait it out, and in the mean time they get to stay close and good friends. He also got a spot drumming for his favorite local band, Poker Face, which is basically conservative hard rock. I don't really like them, but hey, the kid's 20 and is already playing for a relatively major band, so good for him.
I have the ick, but Rob had some decongestant left over from his last bad cold, and they've been working really well. Fortunately it's just the cold from hell and not one of the horrible flu things going around.
God, It's fucking November. This year went by so fast. It's hard to believe everything that's happened in such a small amount of time. Geez life is rad.
