when i was a baby,
it would rock me to sleep,
and now that im getting older,
it will roll the days right pass me.
all the music in the world,
would always seem to make me think,
bring me into this world of quicksand,
make my mind begin to sink.
sink into thoughts and emotions,
i've never felt before,
sometimes i'll listen to a song,
and it would feel like my heart just hit the floor.
i get the goosebumps still,
and begin to cry alot,
but its not from not taking my pill,
it was the way the song had made me thought.
the sound of the strings on a guitar,
the sound of sticks hitting the drums,
the sound of the lyrics the lead singer sung.
rock and roll didnt die,
it just got faded,
its up to the new generation to see,
that rock and roll had made it.
