Classy poem-a-day on the erm, Naked Girl Art Party

"By description alone? Or the tension
between decadence and guilt?"

Tattoo'd stocking seams shadow
those on era-appropriate nylons.
Odyssey of fur wraps, freshly set hair,

glove-compartment socks "really?
We all shaved?" Black satin,
champagne, we journey to purple

Castle full of pale wrists, mother-of-pearl
girls, "anyone home? I brought Boston
sluts!" Well, there's no need

to candy these stanzas:
Eowyn brought art lamps, she's
an amateur erotic documentary (maker).

Allow us to add intimate improv
-isational vaudeville to this master
bedroom photo op'. Operatic kimono,

a rubber nurse and quite-slashed
ballerina lose layers up the stairs
after apple hookah-- the clothing optional

clothing swap. Serenades in fez
and intoxicated garlands strum
for the girls and the elf-stag in maid-wear.

Young Dennis, poor dear surrounded!
Always fetching champagne and more
beaded areole, conversations

on timbre, ochre tips of fingers
packing the hookah to girls drawing
girls drawing other girls emerging from

crown sapphire walls. Countess Cynthia
in a new costume, grandfather clock
dripping midnight marcasite

tocks long dried. "No really, we ate
stuffed baked clams and shrimp cocktail."
We may have left the shells out

all night, even the dogs were Victoria's
court-polite. We left a pile of sighs, porcelain eyes
in a kitten pile, circular bed. No trapped maiden

phallic Rapunzy reference will do-- and it wouldn't
be similie or salty enough for the tower guest room
full of cackling about certain positions,

certain acts, impressively penetrating
discussions on a jeweled bedspread.
We were indifferently decadent,
lewdly so.

(tumble all aboot it) / this party was too epic for this piece to do it justice. please consider this a first draft of a SET of attempts to do the debauch right! depiction and celebratory wise ;) such is life/blogging...

as if Cynthia von Buhler hadn't already won the best party hostess award ever back in October (tumble, tumble2, poem-a-day)- she teamed up with Molly Crabapple to share a lovely lovely time. we were most grateful brokedy toys to be invited. such wonderfully talented people to have the pleasure to meet and make merry with! check out *more beautiful SFW portraits by Kate Black
