This fine day (11/29) featured lunch w.
Kevs,
Edrie &
Star St. Germain before she left town! what a wonderful collision of real-world and internetworking for carnies. Kevy is old friends with Star, who i'd met once years ago at the Boston zine fair, and of course know from the realms of art-online. Great to properly re-meet and dither string section rock 'n roll at Grendel's den... and later that night we had a fantastic band practice for a bunch of exhaustos! Much good funny monkey business.
209. November 29, 2010 (mon., wk31 start!)
i would hate to be the street
Sweeper under half-stars, the one
Who works only the fifth wet week
Of each month, red friendly luncheons
Real cold, no overcoat, no! Just smiling
Fangy zippers dangling off our bombers
No handholding when you have to
Put the smartphone aside and eat
The food you ordered
A Tiffany lamp of glasses and smiles,
A black & tan toast to St. Germain
Herself, astral maps in our garters
Well-striped with internet
Voyeuristic intentions--
Being told: Don't be multi-genre!
It upsets the neighbours
.
Brilliant news while Taxi
Menaces the carpet, tango cat
Underfoot for band taco night
How do we explain the handling
Of hard shells' filling, taking
The high road to Everest
A stack of dusty records
Maniacal skyline of sacked record labels
A laboratory cackles, drinks Sol beer
To chase the hot laughs
Cos' i'm in love w. my bands/bandmates, why not have an a-dorable shot of Meff's haftorah prayer/Suzuki recital at New Jew Revue. i'm stagemom/e'ma w. cameraphone!
