204. November 24, 2010 (wed.,
Trabants at ZuZu)
i know this door guy
Everyone's ex i recognize
Is here with me, Don't card 'em
It's a free show you didn't have that monroe
Piercing when i tried to date you last
i saw you with flurries falling
On the hood of my car while you
Unlocked back door, ushering
Inside the jean jacket
Gigglepuss who'd asked, "Is this your
Little girlfriend?"
Tonight i'm holding court in cloak
Cotton candy - almond - electric cigarettes
Great spookhouse affect, deadly vapor
The redhead bouffant's kindly
Nightshade, words on our schtick
"Just a real treat. Truly
Vaudeville." Truly truly?
Everyones' smiles reflect
Friendly fire, paparazzi flash
Wingtips distorted on the bell of the sax
Dancing In The Surf- Sandikins, Photographer: Nina Leen. isn't this the queerest doublexposure collage? it wigs me out in a way i don't know if i like yet or not.
hilariously the Trabants invited 3 photog friends to this above-ment' show, and i don't think any have surfaced yet... if you're confused,
the Trabants are a suit/surf/soul band. Tarantino soundtrack to a softcore that never was. fuckin' amazing time, they're playing Boston's First Night in Walter Sickert's SteamCRUNK Lounge (extravaganza). Tiny Instruments kick off the night, and i daresay the TOys finish it! (more on that soon)
bonus edit/dition 12/3 photos from the fine inferno-photographeur & more, Mr.
coweatman (Matt Carroll w/ a camera) who i knew on get-up-dread-up years before i knew him IRL? haha. Here are his >>
Trabants @ ZuZu pix
