November 15, 2010 (mon. wk29 entrez)

A screen siren is nosing you, butterfly hairpiece
Antennae tickling your elbow-- the fur trim
Of a lady who lunches linking her arm

Through yours, hooked like a bracelet clasp
Pearl business expense for silver tea
Service, chilled soup or stay in for humid spooning?

Only a trip to the Willy Wonka Factory
Of tiny instruments could get me
Out of bed, jerk-- that soprano

From nineteen sixteen costs thousands
A Golden mandolin by Gideon guitar
M plays like Rodin's Penseur

Mixed with Joey Ramone
The gold varnish
On those petite pineapple uke

Models i want desperately
To smile citrine, cradle it
When the sound is so sweet low G low G

i would write a line about a luau here--
Indigineous arms, exotic-ification
Of the very undulation of water

i hope some liquid liner
Sensuality breaks through
My stiff ballet arm positions

i'm tucking my chin down
Strumming in triple
Singing about a kitten's whiskers
Investigating the hollow behind your knee

Tiny Adventures! (to the Music Emporium)

writing ex. taking a feather from The Storialist's hat/blog-- i started sensory-ily responding to a photo, just to get myself writing in the present, not from day-memories...
