[OOC: HS AU Plotting Post]

ENGLISH LITERATURE TEACHER NEIL DYLANDY, AT YOUR SERVICE. He's one of those teachers who's totally easygoing, really familar and friendly with his students, willing to stay behind after class for hours at a time to help with essays, all that good stuff. He's also the teacher who sees no problem with big-brothering his students - if you look even slightly like you need a helping hand or someone to be there for you, Neil will be keeping an eye out for you. Expect for him to try and bring shy students out of their shells, too. Oh, and the hours-after-class thing isn't just for essays; if you need someone to talk to, his door is always open. He can and will privately appoint himself unofficial big brother.

He occasionally flirts with Principal Franzy/Nurse Cuddy/attractive older women on staff, but it's completely harmless and innocent. Oh, and he's oblivious to the gaggle of students crushing on him. Painfully so.

He's also the head of the Sharpshooting Club, with rifles and occasionally other guns. The club is affiliated with the Archery Club (I think?). He tries to organise paintball tournaments and laser-tag battles whenever he can, both within Sharpshooting Club itself and against/with Archery and/or other clubs. Because team-building exercises are fun.

There may or may not be rumours that he was in the Army for a while before he took the teaching job, despite the fact he's only 26. Aside from that, nobody else except people who've can see/have hacked into his files will ever know about the whole tragic-deaths-of-his-parents-and-sister-when-he-was-14 thing.

About the only time he's not Mr-Nice-Guy-Teacher is if he catches you bullying. Don't let him catch you bullying. It won't be pretty.

Mr Batou helped him build a little robot. It's called Haro, it sits on his desk and helps him collate work and stuff. It's very cute.

Oh, and his car is affectionately nicknamed Dynames. If asked, it's because it's a dynamic machine that's never failed him, and so deserved a cool name. Oh, and if need a ride home in the rain or something? It's no trouble. (:

ETA: You may or may not get him mixed up with the other Mr Dylandy, the one from the Art Department. They can be told apart by the fact Lyle's always flecked with paint and other arty things. It probably doesn't help that Neil has no issues asking Lyle to cover him if he has to miss a club lesson or something. He kind of thinks it's funny. :'D

Because of Lyle, though, he doesn't mind his students calling him Neil generally. He'll actively encourage it the closer he is to you.

WOW THAT WAS TL;DR anything anyone wants to add/any plotting/anything?
