I just spoke to Cid through the journals, and it turns out that he's starting a bar in a couple of days! He's offered me a job as well - he doesn't know who I am either, but I suppose that's fine; he sounds the same, anyway... But finally, I get a place to stay tonight, although I think I'll go and see if the inventory for the bar is adequate.
...old habits really do die hard.
...I wonder how the others are doing back home....
On a side note, I met this strange man called Genjyo Sanzo. He asked if I was from some place called...China or India. Unfortunately, half the things he named did not make sense to me, like Axel and some sort of...organisation or something. He's the first person I talked to face-to-face, and I must say he's a little...odd. Grumpy, maybe? But at least he was normal enough to actually speak to me instead of gawking, for which I am grateful.
