[ It's late (almost early morning) of Halloween and he's more than just a little drunk as the cab drops him off in front of the house. He stumbles a little, but soon catches his balance and walks slowly down the pathway lit by the few scattered luminaries that are still alight. As he reaches the door, he searches the pockets of his costume for his keys. When he finally finds them, he slips it into the lock and steps inside quietly, hoping not to waken anybody who might be home.

Too bad for the bowl of candy sitting on the coffee table near by, because in his unsteadiness, he knocks it over, sending the treats to the floor of the foray with a bit of a crash. ]
