Thanks! It was just one of those wacky ideas that don't leave you alone, but it was also fun to imagine how the two of them would interact.

I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. Funny you should say I've captured Nine's voice because that was the harder part about writing this fic. I had troubles hearing his voice speaking this words, but that's what a beta is for. :-D

Interesting - I look forward to more of this! Strangely, a friend and I last night were just contemplating Nine and Martha together and thought, "Hey, y'know, I think that would work."

For some reason I like seeing two characters together who could never meet. That was half the fun: trying to come up with different situations and seeing how Martha and Nine would get through it.
