I enjoyed the episode as well and I got the feeling that Lady Carmichael mastermind it but there's not a lot of evidence for that as well...and I still want to know why Lady Carmichael alerted Sherlock about the soon to be murder of her husband before committing that act? There's still some questions that episode left me wondering about. LOL at Molly dressed up as a guy and also being part of the group of women all about advancing voting rights for women back then :D
Maybe she wanted to discredit Sherlock? Knock him down a peg in the eyes of the public? I honestly don't know and I've seen the episode twice now. Maybe Moffat and Gatiss had no resolution; they just went for the spectacle rather than having the story make sense.
Victorian!Molly was a nice surprise, in that, she's introduced in a way that I wasn't expecting at all. They could have easily had her as a lowly worker at the morgue. The whole secret society of women based on the KKK thing, though, is just weird.
