Dan's face is a mixture of confusion and relief. "Rorschach?"

Rorschach's back is to the door; he doesn't bother turning around.

"Hello, Daniel. Got hungry waiting. Helped myself to some beans."

He scrapes at the bottom of the can he's on, almost obnoxiously. Perhaps he's trying to drive home that security lesson. "Hope you don't mind."

Dan begins to take off his coat, baffled by this development. "Uh, that is, no! No, of course I don't mind... Uh... You want me to heat those up for you or anything?"

"No. Fine like this."

Of course, Rorschach is down to the last few bites anyway. He scrapes the bottom of the can one more time before putting it aside and tugging his mask down.
