omg drama recap
so this is an update to yesterday. i went back to the carnival tonight, with two kids from my therapy group. judy & candace. we had a fun time. it poured, but hey, what are you going to do? so steph came back too, we hung out, went on a couple rides, just had a good time.
so candace & i are walking over to the food tent so she can get a snack and we walk past this group of cops. and of course, there are the two cops that questioned me and all that shit last night. i tell candace and she looks, and the cops are totally staring at me. which, frankly, i expected because i know they didn't forget who i was overnight.
i said to her "i should go over there and tell them thank you for last night." i was being sarcastic mostly, even though while they were being assholes i know they were just looking out for my best interest. candace didn't think i would do it - she even bet me $2. but i did, the one cop (the one who had been driving last night) was pretty receptive, but the other cop, this white guy, gave me this dirty look. so i said, dripping with sweetness "thank you too," and walked away. i think candace was almost as shocked as the cops were.
i guess part of me wanted to do it. i don't like being on bad terms with anyone, especially not people who can wipe out my whole future if they want to. and, it's good i guess because now they know it's over. i made a point of saying neither steph nor i want to be put in that position again.
cops told me they saw lawrence at the carnival picking up more girls tonight. i'm honestly glad i didn't see him because i think it would have ruined my evening. and i had fun. so at least there's no bad memories associated with the carnival, and maybe i'll go back for the grand finale night on saturday.
