AKA mock tuna, but I hate calling it that because it doesn't have the same flavour or texture as tuna. But it is good, and it does satisfy my craving for things fishy.
All measurements are approximate, as I just throw things in a bowl.
1 cup cooked chickpeas, roughly chopped/mashed
1/2 shredded zucchini
1 finely chopped stick of celery (optional)
1/4 cup olive oil mayo (or any mayo - can use vegan)
1 Tbsp dulce seaweed flakes
1/8 tsp dried mustard powder
1/8 tsp onion powder
freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp nutritional yeast (optional)
1 chopped green onion (optional)
Mix everything thoroughly in a bowl and put in a pita. Yummy.
chickpea salad
