I asked my neighbour, cute blonde girl with boyfriend, to look after my plants while I'm gone. I was actually kind of proud of myself for doing so. I thought I was going to throw up I was so anxious knocking on their door. I mean, I don't even know her name for christsakes. But still, it seemed to make the most sense to have someone in the building look after them. Most of my colleagues aren't in town over xmas, and if they were, I don't have an extra set of keys for them to get it.
I hope cute blonde girl doesn't think it's weird that weird short girl across the hall asked her to babysit some plants for two weeks. I think maybe she does, but she's too nice to say no.
