Dreams.
There used to be a saying that whole nations were built on dreams. Depending on the stance you take upon things, this either holds a glimmer of truth or is wholly foolish. In a way, it is true. Civilizations are built upon the dreams of settling down and living a fairly comfortable life. Two kids and a white picket fence, so to speak. Perhaps the dream was far more ambitious to begin with, but as with everything else, dreams change across the ages.
This city, however, is built on dreams of a different sort. It is difficult to discern what relevance our birth dreams have to the rest of our lives. As difficult, some may say, as translating the dreams one experiences every day. There are no dreams of two kids and a white picket fence here in Edensphere, for it is impossible. Any dreams that we may have had to begin with have been forgotten. People here speak of siblings and families, to form what is normal in a place that is not. We create our own living dreams and cling onto what is familiar in exchange for what is real.
Tell me, children of Edensphere, do dreams mean that much to you? And what are you willing to do to attain these dreams?
Perhaps it is time to take dreams into your own hands.
