What a fun day!
I was finally able to catch up with Caldwell and Ryan. Stopped by their place for hot fudge sundaes and a mini hula lesson from Jasmine. John Dahlstrom, Clay's hairdresser was also there, and *fangirl moment* Wilmer Valerrama! It was great to spend some time with you guys and I hope we can spend a bit more this week.
I couldn't stay real long, tho, because I already had plans with Dina. We met at a place that she said was both gay friendly and het friendly. I'm not sure why she told me that part, but it made me wonder more than usual what I should wear. It's been so warm, I settled on a red sundress. I hate wearing pants when it's hot. The place was cool and they make a mean Sex on the Beach. I don't remember how we got on the subject, but neither of us had even seen gay male porn before, so Dina asked if there was a place nearby we might be able to rent a video or two. They had a some right there, so Dina picked out two. We decided to go back to my place since I have a pool. She said she'd follow me over, and then she jumped on this huge Harley. Damn, it was pretty cool!
Got to my place, grabbed some beers, and sat on the couch to watch a DVD called "Best Friends." The actors were fairly young (in their 20s) and a LOT cuter than most of the men in the regular porn I've seen. It was...interesting. We giggled a lot (like schoolgirls looking at their first Playgirl, probably) and said stuff like "OMG, he's huge!" but we talked a lot, too, coz, well, like any porn I guess, some of it was boring. When it was over we swam for a little bit and then got in the jacuzzi. We drank more beer and talked and giggled more. I told her she was welcome to stay in my guest room, coz we'd both drunk a lot and cabs cost a hella lot in LA.
I think tomorrow we might go rollerblading. She wants to go do it on Venice Beach just because it's so dorky and touristy to do it there. She's just so funny! On Wednesday evening we're going to go to the Angels game. Samuel, you wanna come with us? Naked Twister afterwards? Haha, she dared me to say that!
On Friday I'm in Birmingham; on Saturday in Kansas. My second single, "Wrong" should start getting airplay this week, and after some appearances over 4th of July weekend I'm going to start shooting the video for it. Then I'm going overseas to promo the album, and then in the Fall... a North American tour! I am sooo jazzed about that! I'll also be putting out a Christmas single, so I'm going to be way busy, but y'all know how much I love it. As long as I get some days off like this, I'm good.
Well, I just woke up to get rid of some of that beer I drank, but then the cats were talking to me and I wanted to double check my schedule and make sure the B'ham was Friday not Thursday, and then I started writing. So how's that for a pretty effortless update?
