The cats love their new toys!
The kids are moving in (tho I guess I shouldn't really call them kids, since Marque and Matthew are only two years younger than me. But they're the next season, so I think of them that way. In a good way) and Bella, Etta, and Retha just *love* it! They've been tearing around the house like wild things, chasing each other, climbing really fast to the top of their cat tree house thing, jumping in and out of suitcases, sniffing everyone's stuff. I think they really do think that the four new humans are there just to entertain them!
The pool and jacuzzi are getting plenty of use (I use them almost everyday myself but now with more people and warm weather...) and the kids (!) are turning the rec room, which I've never really used except for having a weight machine in one corner, into a dance studio. I made big trips to Costco and Trader Joe's (I love those places) and stocked up the kitchen so they don't have to worry about groceries for a week or two at least. After all, they'll be taking care of my babies, and it's not like they have much money, and I'm doing ok right now. I told them that someday when they're established they can help some other new artist.
Tomorrow night is the What a Pair concert that I'll be performing in, and then my promo tour kicks off Saturday in Florida. I'll probably fly out there Wednesday or so to be sure I'll have time to rest and be rid of the jet lag, and maybe poke around Florida a little bit. On the following Monday I have a promo on Long Island, so I'll just be flitting all over the place.
