i've been in geek heaven working with hail. it doesn't get much better than playing with flash and designing with photoshop and fireworks for me. hopefully i'm getting better. and coding in dreamweaver is super simple. almost too simple. i really like coding and it kind of sucks the nerdiness out of it... oh well, it's fast ( Read more... )

I really like the layout of the website, but OMG at the color scheme. It looks like a rabies infected watermelon vomited all over the place and is that a picture of the actual inside of the store? Yikes!

Personally when it comes to skincare and such, I like to see "spa" colors and earthy tones and flashes of color like tangerine and lemon meringue yellow and chartreuse...you know, something that has a natural feel to it but doesn't destroy your eyes. Especially when their store name is something so simple and organic sounding like 'Skin'

And they need a new logo, like right now.

I realize you're not their branding manager but wow the super bright pink with the black and white makes me feel like it's something geared toward tweens and teenage girls.

omg it IS a rabies infected watermelon! haha! the colors are really just awful. the neon pink and green do look like something from wet seal. *barf* check the website they liked and wanted to emulate: fucking awful. eh... i really like the simple and organic idea... i hadn't thought about that. i kinda went overboard and tried to make it as girly as possible. hmmm... i wonder if they assigned me this job for any particular reason?... no, that isn't the interior. when i get done i'll have a 360 degree tour in that placeholder. i hope. thank you kindest madame nerveaux!

Ahh ok, if that was really the interior I was about to say, "God help us all."

That Rouge website is pretty awful, I'm also not too keen on things that are overly pink so I'm probably biased in my opinion but still...too much!

I don't know if I would consider where I was in Texas as the south. It was more like Mexico's evil twin sister and they both shave off their eyebrows and draw them on with sharpies. They also ate 5,000 too many enchiladas.

i certainly don't blame you. i have the same problem which is why i just shave mine now. it seems you are feeling better. i really hope so! if not, just stare at my hypnotically cheerful psd until you feel better or... vomit.

It wasn't the dream itself that was terrible, it was how it made me feel.

I took a nap earlier because I haven't been sleeping well since I came home. The dream was just me and Clint, doing something together in the kitchen like I was cooking and he was standing there talking to me or something like that. And I felt so happy that he was there with me and we were together.

Then I woke up and realized he was gone and I was alone.

ich. i could some cornball shit here but i won't. it sucks. to be without your man is something truly awful. i just hope you can fill up the time with something that you love so you don't have to focus on it. *hug*
