Here's a fun little Christmas fic I wrote tonight. Merry Christmas everyone!

Jingle! Jingle!

John shifted in his sleep. Opening his eyes, he furrowed his brow. Had he just heard bells? He strained to listen. Silence. Closing his eyes again, he drifted back to sleep.

Jingle! Jingle!

"Johnny! Wake up, Johnny! It's Christmas morning!"

Sitting up, John rubbed his eyes. His foster sister stood at the foot of his bed, smiling excitedly and jingling a bell that hung around her neck.

"C'mon, Johnny! Santa came and he brought us presents!"

John climbed out of bed and followed the little girl, who led him into a room with a big Christmas tree. Below the tree were several wrapped gifts.

"Merry Christmas, John." A woman walked over and greeted John, giving him a warm hug.

Before long John, his foster mother and sister were sitting amongst piles of discarded wrapping paper, singing carols and drinking mugs of hot chocolate.  It was one of John's happiest Christmas memories.

Jingle! Jingle!

Rolling over John opened his eyes again. This time he was certain he wasn't just hearing things. He left his bed and walked across the room. Peering into the hallway, he thought he heard quiet singing coming from downstairs.

When John walked into the living room, he could only stare at the sight before him. There in the middle of the room was a big Christmas tree completely decorated.

Jingle! Jingle!

John spun around and nearly knocked over Desmond, who had just come into the room behind him.

"Merry Christmas, Boxman," Desmond said. He smiled at John.

Blinking wordlessly for a few moments, a slow grin finally crossed John's face. Desmond was dressed from head to toe as a Christmas elf and even wore a bell around his neck. "Merry Christmas, Desmond," he said, unable to stop himself from laughing. "You're probably the sexiest elf I've ever seen." He continued to grin.

"Ye like?" Desmond asked. He twirled around, causing the bell to jingle, as he did.

With another laugh, John nodded. "I'd say so."

A little later, John and Desmond had finished the breakfast Desmond had prepared and were now sitting in front of the Christmas tree sipping some eggnog John had whipped up.

"Merry Christmas, Boxman," Desmond said again, clinking his glass against John's. "I jus' wish I coulda given you a gift."

"Are you kidding?" John replied, arching his eyebrows in surprise. "This is the best Christmas gift you could have given me," he said, with a smile. "But I didn't do anything for you." His smile turned into a slight frown.

"Aye, but ye did, Boxman," Desmond insisted. "Yer enough of a gift t' me." He smiled up at John.

Reaching up, John caressed Desmond's cheek. He then leaned forward and kissed his lover, tasting the eggnog on his lips. "I can still give you a Christmas present," he whispered suggestively.

Desmond blushed, lifting his eyes to meet John's. "That'd be luvleh," he murmured.

John took his glass, along with Desmond's and put them on the coffee table. "First, we'll need to get you out of this," he said, plucking the elf hat from the other man's head. "And this." He removed the rest of Desmond's outfit.

Jingle! Jingle!

Grinning, Desmond sat jingling his bell.

"Very cute," John laughed. However, he pulled the bell from around Desmond's neck and tossed it to the side. Pulling his lover to him, he took his lips once more.

"Aren' ye goin' t' get undressed?" Desmond asked, when the kiss finally broke. He tugged on the bottom of John's t-shirt and lifted it over his head, before assisting him with his shorts.

"You're so beautiful," John stated huskily, studying his lover's nude form.

The two men were soon groping each other and rolling around on the floor. Within moments, they had both found their release. Laying each other's arms, their breathing slowly returned to normal.

"Merry Christmas, Des," John said, kissing his companion.

Desmond giggled.

"What's so…" John's mouth quirked into another grin. He could see Desmond holding his foot aloft, the bell dangling in the air. This was certainly going to be another of his happiest Christmas memories.
Jingle! Jingle!
