(no subject)
This week was so good. Track practice wasn't bad, I did well on my quizes, and got enough sleep (even if it consisted of doing homework...sleeping for 5 hours, waking up and finishing homework, and then sleeping for 1 more hour). My early Valentine's Day celebration was fun yesterday and Eleven Eleven (AKA me and Alex...or it can be 11:11, whatever) played for some seniors during practice. We played Check Yes Juliet because this dude, Tim, kept singing it all day. It went really well except one guy was a real jerk (not naming names...) and said in front of my face how good Alex was. The other guys too were like, "yeah! Awesome job Alex!". I probably sound like the most self-centered hog right now but I think it's rude to compliment just one band member when the other one is right next to him. I got over it, obviously.
Tomorrow, my dearly beloved Sam will be in Chicago! I'm so excited to see him. I really hope we get to spend more time together than we did last year. Asdfghjk !!!!!
Artsfest is also just in 2 weeks! Eeekk! Me and Layla need to churn out these shirts fast. WHO WANTS ONE?!? We have two designs: one with an octopus and one with headphones. They're hand screen-printed by us. $11 each. Spread the word!
Well, that's all for now. I'm home alone attempting to do homework without distraction. It's also that time of year when I clean out my room and donate the clothes I don't wear anymore, so I gotta go do that too. I'm also going to practice 2 new songs for Artsfest: Dirty Little Secret (me on guitar) and Womanizer (on piano)
