Found out more about his accident as well. Apparently, he did not go off with a friend and get drunk then get in the water. He was drinking beer with Chip(couple of years older, step brother) and some of his friends. Another friend of Chips showed up with a bottle of Vodka.
Michael did a few shots, then they stopped him. Everyone else went into the water but Michael stayed on the beach for a while. After a bit Michael got in as well, and then did his impression of dead man floating. Chip noticed a few minutes later that the Vodka bottle was empty.
We think the Vodka was stolen by his friend from the hotel they work in. They have access to the liquor cabinet key. Well, Chip doesn't anymore, but that's because my Mom and his Dad just forced him to quit. And they're selling his car. He's going on indefinate lockdown here at the house. If he doesn't end up in jail.
