Home Sweet Home
I haven't been home much in June, and therefore I haven't been reading/posting on LJ. I spent most of the month in Minneapolis dumping my brain into the people that work at corporate headquarters so I can finally be officially done working on july 31st. The other week that I wasn't there I was in Disney World with my family, which I enjoyed sort of but it wasn't my favorite trip ever. Spending time with my grandfather was good, my mom is insane.
I just skimmed through the 400 most recent LJ posts that I was able to look at...but if I missed anything fun and exciting, feel free to let me know.
I'm stressed about money - darknbitter got laid off, which I'm actually happy about because he hated his job so now he can spend the time finding something better that he likes more - but because of the timing of when he got laid off he didn't get reimbursed for his spring courses and now he won't get reimbursed for summer either, so we're suddenly out $5,000. I had been saving for a rainy day, but, well...that was it. And I'm about to be unemployed as well.
Oh well...at least we can spend time at home together and fix our house, which is falling apart.
