Their time has long since past
There's no time left for heroes
Their dreams just couldn't last

Eyes once blue now turned gray
Knowing tomorrow they won't see day
Their capes are torn and the colors faded
Reputation forgotten, their souls are jaded
Kicked to the curb and then left there to die
But nobody cares; they won't blink an eye
It's kinda sad, I think; am I the only one?
It's clear to me that the time of heroes is done.
